This is a wonderful light hearted and funny movie, but covers a suprisingly slightly more serious topic. It's pretty predictable, but I love it.

Not good to plagiarise

Saw this movie a while back and was shocked to see that it was a remakeof an Indian blockbuster movie from 2005.http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0451803/ Believe me its a scene to scenecopy of the original and at least the makers should have credited it tobe an inspiration or a remake. Rated this awful not because of theacting or he storytelling but just for the above mentioned fact. Themovie is quite good. Adam Sandler suits his role and shows once againthat when it comes to comedy he is one of the very best in thebusiness. Go watch it if you want to but I would recommend watching theoriginal as it contains more visually appealing music numbers.

WoW This Sucked

The Adam Sandler days are over. I thought Grown Ups would of been theend of it but he had to make this piece of crap too. Sandler continuesto come across as a fat, arrogant, rich Jew who doesn't give a crapabout anything which probably isn't too far from who he is in reallife. I hate to be so hard on him because Billy Madison and HappyGilmore were gold. But this movie is just a major waist of time. Eventhe gratuitous shots of Any Roddick's wife weren't enough to carry eventhe slightest interest in the plot. Throw in the one dimensionalAniston and Dave Mathew's first acting appearance ever, and you've gota sleeper. If you want to still think highly of Sandler, don't watchthis and put Billy Madison back in the VCR instead.

Formula

Sandler's plastic mode of pretend white collar/blue collar something-or-another with life/relationship issues is getting old. However, it does improve the monthly bank statement - but little else. Aniston's look cute and say dumb things all-with-naturalness roles also continue to improve her monthly bank statement but little else. The formula of relationships within and outside the office with sex as the fulcrum for humor continues and will for a very long time; also helped the studio's monthly bank statement. Oh, the formula of fake marriage w/kids has been done in many variations before - ho hum. On a positive note the writer's did come up with a few unique funny lines that salvaged the rest of the ship, as did, to some extent, Bailee's performance as well.

so painful, I looked for a pen to shove in my eye...

I watched this knowing it wasn't going to be 50 First Dates/The weddingSinger funny, but I *never* expected it to be as unfunny as overboard..and I watched this film without having read any reviews or spoilers. Ikept waiting to feel SOME emotion, ANY emotion other than aggravation.I am mostly a devout fan of both Adam Sandler and Jennifer Annistan,but this movie almost led to my death. The ONLY part I found enjoyableis when Devlyn, Ian, Katherine, and Danny had dinner and Devlyn talkedthem into saying what they loved about each other. That was the only 2minutes in the movie that had any positive emotion, whatsoever. Itseemed too desperate an attempt at slapstick humor and things goingawry to connect to the characters.. or even recognize their connectionto each other. I was so hoping for more, but was very let down. Unlikeoverboard, where I turned it off 5 minutes into the film, I feltobligated to sit through it and watch it because I ordered it OnDemandat my boyfriends house and couldn't bear wasting the money by notfinishing it. However, I'd love my time and $6.99 back. So pathetic!

HORRIBLE!!!

Don't waste your money on this movie. I like Adam and Jennifer, and I had high hopes for the movie, but it was plain terrible. The dialogue was bad. The storyline sucked. The acting wasn't the greatest--it seemed like they were just going through the motions.I had to turn the video off it was so terrible!!!!

I loved this movie. Its a great romantic comedy. There are parts in this movie that are literally laugh out loud funny. Rent it, you will not be disappointed!

The best ADAM SANDLER JENNIFER ANISTON movie yet

I figured this would be sooooo predictable. It was....but love JENNIFER SOOOO MUCH...SHE WAS SO HOT IN THIS MOVIE...DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE BROOKLYN DECKER...(THOUGHT IT WAS GENIUS AT THE END W/ HER AND ANDY RODDICK)....I love FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL DUE TO BEING FILMED IN HAWAII...NORTH SHORE...TURTLE BAY ....THIS MOVIE BLEW IT AWAY....THE SCENERY WAS AWESOME...saw Adam on Regis / Kelly and said they spent 6 weeks in MAUI and 3 weeks in KAUAI...that must be where the waterfall shot was filmed..and in credits ..noticed his two daughters were in that shot too.....can't say enough...love,love,love this movie....and went straight to amazon to put in my PRE-ORDER / BLUE RAY....CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THIS..TOOK MY MOM FOR VALENTINES DAY..AND WE BOTH LOVED IT...SHE IS 72 AND I AM 53....all ages love this...for sure...we also saw...NO STRINGS ATTACHED....CAN'T SAY ANYTHING GOOD ABOUT THAT ONE...EXCEPT...WE BOTH SAID....SOOOOO PREDICTABLE...NOT A BLUE RAY I WILL RUSH OUT FOR..

Very Good

Agree with a lot of people - the movie turned out better than expected. People need to take it for what it's meant to be - light Rom Com made by Adam Sandler. Not sure how original a movie luck that can be, so yes the ending is predictable. There were plenty of funny scenes, dialogues to enjoy, kids were rather hilarious, women looked nice... Recommend, as long as you do not expect anything extraordinary.

stereotypically lame

This movie tries too hard to be funny, when it so clearly is not. It is extremely predictable with the same old tired scenes. Not an ounce of originality or witty humor. (To be fair, this is not typically a movie I'd go and see.) If I had to sum this movie up in three words... waste of time!

Best Movie I Have Ever Seen!

Oh My Gosh! This movie is ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS! I seriously could notstop laughing when I watched it for the first time at the theater. AdamSandler and Jennifer Aniston are my favorite actors. Adam is thefunniest comedian, I mean he is so awesome! This movie is a 10/10 Icould not think of a possible way to make it better. It is the typicalmovie you want to go watch on a Friday night with your best buds. Trustme, it'll be a night to remember. The theme is really funny and themovie has amazing actors. I hate horrors and thrillers and actions andall that. I LOVE COMEDY and this is by far one of my favorite movies!Hope you all like it as much as I did!

Better than expected

First of all, it is an Adam Sandler movie. If you hate Adam Sandlermovies, then you won't like this.I gave it an 8/10 because it was one of the better Adam Sandler movies.The plot and storyline was better than I expected; the development waspretty good as well. There were definitely a lot of points where I hadto slap my forehead b/c it was silly funny.Yeah, its highly unrealistic, but if you expected realism, whats wrongwith you? Sure, Jennifer Anniston is the "uglier chick," which is likesaying a million dollars isn't that much money, but she did a good jobin the movie.The only complaint I had was Adam Sandler used all the lines I plannedon using with the girl I took to see it!

entertaining and romantic at the same time a gud movie after all

This is a romantic comedy which I have seen after days, which hasactually the elements of comedy. You would laugh your stomach out. Thestory-telling is so nice that even though every thing seems quietpredictable, it still grips you to the end. The acting was superb, Imean, Aniston, Sandler have both done a great job. I especially likethe raunchy double-meaning dialogues which will make you laugh all thetime. Brooklyn has also done a good job playing a role of a nice lady.Watch out for the curves and big coconuts of the ladies and the yellowbikini. Some scenes are quiet romantic and the chemistry between theactors are great. In short, if you want a funny and romantic movie tospend your time," Just go with it" is a perfect choice. You won't getbored!!!

A Funny Comedy

Just Go With It was a good funny movie. Adam & Jennifer characters were great. My husband & I laughed alot. Good romantic Comedy. Go see it and have a good laugh.

Move on, Aniston

Striko Two for Aniston: After the atrocious THE BOUNTY HUNTER, comes this mess... This movie is, basically, obnoxious. totally unplausible. Just another "great" concept fo uniting two star, then writing the script. Well, at least we saw Jennifer in a bathing suit.Why on Earth (other than the big dollars, of course) does she accepts only these kind of roles? She proved she can act in THE GOOD GIRL, she already proved she can do good comedy. Why be stuck in horrible comedies?
