One of my favourite films
Although i love a lot of classic films series, awesome films are hardto come by now. I was pleased with the start of the Harry Potter seriesbut as usual with most series; they seemed to get worse until thedeathly hallows. Part 1 was good but Part 2 was amazing and a great wayto end the series, will be sad to not see another but i guess it willbe a great way to end the series.Part 2 was filmed was full of comedy and at times was a great drama andhad me on the edge of my seat towards the end, when i first heard thatthe film would have a mini battle so to speak in it i didn't reallythink it would come off well but mixed with great effects and greatacting so they managed to pull it off well. The only criticism i have for it which is nothing really is the bitwhen Harry speaks to Dumbledore, thought that looked very strange andthe whole scene just looked out of place from the look and feel of therest of the film but as i said its nothing; just being a bit picky. To sum it up. Amazing film and a great way to finish to what has been agreat film series for the last decade.

Harry Potter is Harry Potter
Review Score 8.5/10  You've seen it, you love it, you won't stop now.Lacks some of the magic of previous films, but it's the conclusion sogo see it.HPDHP2 (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2) is well you know,it's the final Harry Potter film. It picks up where the last one leftoff, Voldemort has three horcruxes left and Harry, Ron, and Hermioneare out to destroy them. The film wastes no time recouping anythingexcept the fact that Voldemort just retrieved the Elder Wand fromDumbledore's Grave. The film largely rests on the final act of theDeathly Hallows, namely the Battle of Hogwarts. The film has probably the most pure action sequences in these filmssince ever. If the group isn't fighting or fleeing they're probablyjust licking their wounds for the next scene. Dialogue is sparse, andexplanations are momentary distractions from all the different coloredlights running around. And the action is great, its some of the best inany action film, but then again that's what action films are supposedto be about. But this film has perhaps more negative things that can be said thanprevious Harry Potter films. All the gooey stuff is over, all thecharacters have been set on their paths and the film isn't about toremind you what path they've chosen. There is no struggle within thegroup of friends, how to destroy horcruxes is known, what the deathlyhallows are is known, and above all, what's going to happen is known. The film does not spend even one full scene talking about what itsdoing or where its going, there's action to be filmed. This is particularly disappointing, because I felt that HPDHP1 was oneof the greatest Harry Potter films, but that film remembered one thingthat HPDHP2 doesn't remember and that's that among its frenzied andconfused action it knew how to slow down and allow for character tobleed out. In this movie Hermione and Ron get hardly any lines. Storyis completely side-boarded except for the most climactic part of thefilm, which is about half an hour before the end of the story.Explanation is so sparse, that unless one were to read the books they'dnot know why particular actions were taken and this can mostly beblamed on the fact that someone decided to cut down on thesentimentality and explanation.BUT I save my rant for more personal moments because despite a fewissues that dig at me, HPDHP2 is one of the best action films I've seenrecently, and it's the end of a series that everyone has loved, eitheras books, as films, or as both, and whether or not this is a successshould not be measured based one less that shiny part. Therefore I saythis movie has something for everyone to love, but it is a movie, andits never felt more like a movie than this one and that is a negativething.

Best Picture Winner
This movie is probably the best movie I've ever seen. I believe that anomination for the Academy Award for Best Picture is an automatic and awin is almost guaranteed.David Yates brilliantly blends both an action packed fantasy and anemotional epic into one film.Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint both shine in their own light, but Ithink that Emma Watson was the better of the three. However Alan Rickman is the true star of the film. In earlier films heportrays a evil villain, but in this film, he lives up to and perhapspasses the emotion of Snape in the book.I like that this is an excellent movie and one you should see beforeyou die.

A majestic end, but not without some strange twists
I gave the last Harry Potter movie an 8 because I wanted to like it. Myinitial gut feeling during the end of the movie was almost disbeliefpaired with mild disappointment. @ the moment I left the theater Iprobably would have given it only a 6 or so, simply because it didn'tlive up to my expectations. The Harry Potter books all came to life because of JK Rowling'swonderful language. The writing and the plots grew more and more intoadult or young adult literature, with increasing maturity of characterand plot. That takes nothing away from the great design that Rowlinghad from the first book to the last pages. Everything came together:clues from the Sorcerer's Stone found their solution or reunion withthe events in the last book, and so on. It was as if each book wassomehow addressed again in the last book and the final battle. Harry'sfirst wand gets healed in the last scene; elves and hippocrypths cometo his rescue in the last fight. It would be too much to expect to seeall those things in the last film. But at least a few???Why omit such wonderful scenes like Harry's welcome by Prof McGonogalafter he curses the Caros brother, and she says: that was.. verygallant of you". Why have the students march in military formation whenit's plenty clear in the book how invasive the new school leadershipunder Snape has become. Why fabricate? Why reduce the final battle tomass engagement and special effects, when the story's real tension liesin the fact that Harry and Voldemort argue in front of the entireschool. In the course of this, we finally all learn, and the studentsand teachers in particular, how everything fit together, how everythinghad been in motion since Harry's first encounter with Voldemort. The final battle scene is much more than battle: it explains theintracacies of wand lore, horcruxes and protections against spells, protecting friends, the elder wand's powers and limitations and more.Instead, we see Harry battle Voldemort in the ruined towers of Hogwartswith hardly anybody around!! The power of that last scene, in the book, lies in the fact that Voldemort does not dare use the elder wandagainst Harry for fear that Harry knows something he doesn't. And so heholds out until he realizes that all his plans have failed, no morehorcruxes, just one last deadly spell. The movie has them exchangingspells like in the graveyard HP4, but the entire logic of Voldemortsdemise lies in the fact that the Elder Wand will Not fight its rightfulowner Harry. So why the cheap fighting scenes? Why would Aberforth mention horcruxes when only very few people knewabout them? Why cut short Harry's last moments when he decided toaccept death and NOT talk to his friends, because they would havestopped him? The loneliness of that decision, the courage, and thesacrifice not to have that last emotional moment with Ginny orHermione. Where was that?In a summary, I would call it a good movie, but the plot lines wherespotty to say the least, particularly for viewers who have not workedthrough the books. The acting was great, but many characters remainedflat. Why find a different Aberforth than we saw in earlier movies? Theteachers were barely in the story. Snape's emotional development was apleasant surprise. The movie felt one dimensional, Harry, Hermione, afairly flat Ron, that was that. No built up of Mrs Weasly reallycharging against Bellatrix. How come they weren't surprised to seeHarry and his friends in Hogwarts? They hadn't seen our friends forabout 7-8 months or so. No greetings, no hugging, no words. Why haveSnape die in the boathouse when we all know it was the Shrieking Shackfrom HP3? Why cut the scene so short? The retrieval of Snape's memories (tears not the usual brain wave ofsmoke?) and the pensieve scenes were lovely and slowed down to let theviewer enjoy it. Harry and Ravenclaw, ghostly beautiful, yes. Willcontinue this in a bit. A good movie, yes, but not the best one in thisepic story.

sadly disappointing
I have now been to see the second part of harry potter twice and bothtimes have been impressed with how good the graphics and acting of thethree main characters are, however i was disappointed that it did notstick to the book as much as part 1. My main problems were:teddy lupin is barely mentioned Freddie's death is barely seen snapes memories are rushednot enough screen time on professor mcgonagall or snapemy least favourite part is the ending where harry defeats voldemort andafterward he goes back into the great hall but nobody says to him welldone or finally voldemorts dead which is a little bit weird. However it has some great music and brilliant acting especially by Alanrickman who is portrays snapes emotions brilliantly and shows a morevulnerable side another great performance was by Mathew lewis who playsNeville, Neville steals the show for me being the surprising hero.overall this is a must see film but if you are a big fan of the booksyou may find the film slightly disappointing

A mesmerizing and spell binding conclusion to the greatest phenomenon of this decade.
A phenomenon which started 14 years ago ends with the last chapter inthe Harry Potter Saga. The movie series, unlike the books, had itsshare of ups and downs. As a die hard Potterhead, I've always preferredthe first two movies which remain the most faithful to the books. Ireally hated how this series had to face a change of directors in themiddle, disrupting a continuous flow from the first two, but eventhough the third and the fourth ones had their differences from thebook, yet they remained entertaining and magical. It wasn't until David Yates came that in my opinion that the serieswent downhill. With Yates helming the fifth and the sixth one, theHarry Potter movie saga was at its worst. Not only were those two dulland bland, Yates completely missed the essence of the books which theother directors were able to hold on to.When I came to know that David Yates was chosen for the finale, myworst fear had come true. I dreaded how Yates was going to butcher thefinale of a great series which deserved a perfect send off. With therelease of Deathly Hallows - Part 1, I was both concerned and relieved.Part 1 had its share of great moments but just like the previous twoinstallments, something was missing, something magical which the firstfour in the series had. So from then onwards it was time to await forthe finale and wonder if Part 2 would be what us fans expected it tobe.Today, after watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 forthe second time I can only say this, Harry Potter fans could not haveasked for a better end to the series that has shaped their childhoodfor more than a decade.Everything about the movie was perfect. From the acting, which was thegreatest amongst all the eight movies, especially from Daniel Radcliffewho had the whole movie on his shoulder to carry on and carries it off,he does brilliantly, from Ralph Fiennes who portrays a great villainwith perfect menace and from Alan Rickman as Snape who gives us thehighlight sequence of the series with such sincerity and grace thatwould make even a casual fan feel for him. Rupert Grint and Emma Watsonthough this time had to be sidelined a bit but still play their partbeautifully with Emma showing why she's one of the brilliant actressesout there and Rupert who this time around brings out a more truer Ronthan he had in the previous few installments. Not to mention the otheractors like Maggie Smith who this time was given a deserving screentime and a role to play, Matthew Lewis who gives a terrific performanceas the unsung Hero of Hogwarts and all the rest. If there was one thingHarry Potter got absolutely correct then that was the casting. Kudos tothe filmmakers to achieve such a success with this! The direction thistime around was outstanding. Always considered David Yates to be theworst thing that happened to Hogwarts but he has proved me wrong with afinale that puts him up there with the elite ones. Even though hebutchered two installments but he created an outstanding finale whichis his redemption. The music is one of the reasons why the movie works so well. AlexandreDesplat may have given a better than average music for Part 1 but withPart 2 he shows why he is an Oscar nominated composer. His battletracks especially the Statues and Courtyard Apocalypse were brilliantand his Lilly and Severus along with the Resurrection Stone track hitsall the right notes. Though his biggest contribution is the use of JohnWilliam's Leaving Hogwarts for the epilogue which is the greatestservice he could have given to the fans and works as a powerful tool tobring out a decade long emotion in the end.The visual effects as usual with the HP series were brilliant. TheBattle of Hogwarts was breath taking, with beautiful cinematography. This movie had the right amount of violence and action keeping thebattle intriguing and intense.A mesmerizing and spell binding conclusion to the greatest phenomenonof this decade. David Yates, by crafting a magical finale, you havetruly demonstrated why Harry Potter is and will always be.... The BoyWho Lived...!!!

One of the best movies of 2011
''Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2'' is certainly a nicemovie. The Harry Potter film series ended with this movie. This moviehas been made wonderfully. Though some may say that there are manydissimilarities in the film from the book, I think that the Battle ofHogwarts scenes were made wonderfully.I really loved the memories of Snape. Throughout the series, SeverusSnape is shown as an emotionless person, but in the memories, his realidentity is introduced. The scenes of Snape's memories very touching, and its the best thing I liked about this movie. The fight between Severus Snape and Minerva McGonagoll was amazing. The scene where Molly kills Bellatrix is quite exciting. The epilogue was also nice. Some bad sides: Ron and Hermione were chased by Nagini in the film. Butin the book, they are fighting against the Death Eaters. The backgroundstory of Dumbledore is completely missing in the film.Overall, this movie was very nice, except having a few dissimilaritiesto the book.

Couldnt have ended better
This is what all had been waiting. The end is here and it comes with abig bang. This is the best installment of the series excluding Prisonerof Azkaban. Finally its Harry vs Voldemort. With the beginning only itsquite understandable that all we're gonna watch is a lot of action. Thedirection great, the script is written pretty well and I just loved thescreenplay. Its stunning visually and the effects are commendable. Onemore thing is that you will find your heart pacing as more and moretime passes. Definitely all you think is that its gonna end now. Iwatched in 3d and didn't find much use of 3d except 2-3 good scenes. Soits moreover kind of same if you watch in 2d. The truths when unfolddelivers a shock to us. Although the ending scenes don't fit well butthe climax is superb and it couldn't have ended better. Just loved itbut sadly the series is over now.

So full of epic win (a perfect end to a perfect series).
I just saw this movie, and I must say I was not in the slightest bitdisappointed. Sure, things were left out, but they really made up forit in other ways. The cinematography and special effects blew me away. But even better than those was the acting. Everybody really stepped itup for this final movie and gave it their all. I was especiallyimpressed by Alan Rickman's portrayal of Severus Snape. He was moreemotional in this than in any other movie I've seen him in. All-in-allthis movie completely blew my mind in every way. People will becleaning the pieces of my exploded head out of the theater for weeks tocome.

The End.
Ten years ago, we were presented with a story on the silver screenabout a boy wizard, whose parents were killed by a man named Voldemort.Along the way, he met Ron Weasley and Hermonie Granger, who became hisparty companions as he quested to learn more about himself and comecloser to his ultimate destiny; to kill Lord Voldemort. This one was a very emotional, but beautiful ending to a series that amajority of people my age grew up with, and it added more to its grandpower by great direction, an excellent script, and powerful acting(especially from Alan Rickman, who really impressed me with hisperformance in both parts. I actually began to sympathize withProfessor Snape when they showed his backstory from his last tear, asit almost made me cry), along with top-notch visual effects and a grandscore.I can easily call this the best movie of the year, and I hope thatpeople don't miss their last chance to see the boy wizard (unless theydecide to reboot the series 20 years from now, which will anger a lotof people, including myself). So, in total, if I give this one 5 stars and the first part a 4-starrating, that would make the 2 parts together a 4.5 out of 5, which issolid for a Harry Potter film considering all the others except the 4th(never watched Azkaban) were not all that great.Harry had a good run, quite an impressive one at that.Part 1: B+ Part 2: ATogether: A-

Lost the Charming Magic
When the special effects seem fake at times, when there is a scenelater in the movie that appears to be a memory that is photographicallysuperior to most of the rest of the movie in terms of sharp clarity, when the character development and evolution seems to have stalled, when characters die off screen losing the emotive intensity, when thehigh point of the movie, perhaps the one that really stands out comestowards the end of the movie where Harry Potter must face himselfdoesn't really flesh out completely and latter scenes seem to also giveaway the surprise, when the pieces and mystery seem patched together,it appears this last Harry Potter has grown up into adolescence whenmagic becomes only dreams and fairy tales, stuff that only youngchildren believe in. It seems that Potter has outgrown the need formagic.

Brilliant end to a brilliant saga
A brilliant end to a brilliant saga. The Harry Potter phenomenon hasbecome bigger with every movie released. Adding more to the (excuse thecliché) cauldron each year, and this movie was no exception. It is fairto admit that part one was a little bit of a lackluster, and needed alot more conviction and vitality. It only really had you on the edge ofyour comfy cinema seat toward the penultimate scene where Dobbytragically dies. However part 2 had a lot more to it, chucking youright in the deep end from the get go, which is to expect when themovie starts half way through a book, nonetheless it still gripped theaudience a lot better than the first.Similarly to the first though, it does drag on a bit a quarter of theway through, with the only thing keeping you interested is the concept, the objective, what you know is coming (which is explained to you atthe beginning) the mission to Gringots was a fantastic way for DavidYates to grab the audience's attention. Then, as soon as they actuallyenter Bellatrix's vault, it is a roller coaster from their on.The bulk of the movie is an action packed, heart wrenching, bloodpumping experience, which is very much enhanced upon by the previousmovies which lacked a lot in action. Each movie has been leading up tothis battle between Harry and Voldomort, a lot like the way Lord Of TheRings was building up to its penultimate battle, you therefore expectedto be amazed and in awe, which you definitely are.As someone who has never read the books, which I believe a lot of theaudience will have not done, the way they execute the plot twistbetween Harry, Dumbledore and Snape is simply magnificent. The moviegreatly lulls you into a false sense of knowing, you are made tobelieve Harry is supposed to die when he witnesses Snapes memories, butthe way Yates played out the dream sequence when Harry "dies" isbrilliant. The movie crush's one of the strongest bonds and is able torebuild it within a matter of minutes, which conjures up a variety ofemotions and the audience is merely left in shock. So yeah, the movie plays out brilliantly, and even the pivotal roleNeville plays lives up to what you expected in the final movie. The waragainst the Dark Lord ended on a high that had almost the wholeaudience gritting their teeth anxiously to see the outcome.Nevertheless their was one problem, why on earth did Yates ruin thiswith what i thought was an abysmal addition to the end, the "19 yearslater" scene, which I am sure in the books would have been emotional, was ruined by casting Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, TomFelton and Bonnie Writght to play their future selves. It added acomedic aspect to what should have been, in my opinion, a solemnoccasion. So despite the ending, it was a must see and a brilliant endto a movie that will "live forever"

Incredible Movie! But limited by past mistakes (Spoiler Alert!!)
This was perhaps the best of all the Harry Potter Movies. Although Ithink they rushed through the Gringgots story line and the main battlewith Voldermort should have followed the book closer, there were manyscenes not in the book which I felt made up for this. For exampleLongbottom and Finigan blowing up the bridge, or the simple five wordsadded to Snapes death, "You have your mothers eyes." The main problem with The deathly Hallows was not the movie itself butrather all the critical parts Yates neglected in the previous books, which ultimately limited the emotional scope of both Parts 1 and two.For example...If you read the book you cried when Dobby died, if you did not then youwere probably a bit curious as to why Harry was so torn up over thedeath of a House Elf which he hadn't seen in over five years and causedhim more pain than aided and Ron and Hermione only met in the kitchenof number 12 for ten minutes. But those of us who read the books knowthat Dobby was so much more to all of them. How did you feel when Remus and Tonks lay dead on the floor of thegreat hall? Odds are if you didn't close your eyes and sigh than younever knew how their relationship developed, how Remus battled himselfand whats this Harry says about a baby after using the ResurrectionStone? Would you have been as indifferent at Moody's death if you knew how hethreatened the Dursley's on Harry's behalf? How much better would it have been if Percy had been there to reconcilewith his family only hours before crouching over his younger brothersbody? How many who have not read the book recall the pompous olderbrother shown only a handful of times in past movies? I know the books will always be better than the movies, for time andbudget reasons, but when I look at books 4-6 and how little theirmovies cover, they seem like Yates merely skimmed through the books andworked from a memory of it. I also know this seems more like an attack on the past movies than areview on Part 7, and I guess to some degree it is. But all that beingsaid this was THE BEST Harry Potter Movie yet and I am very sorry tosee the Era end. Unlike so many I did not grow up with Harry Potter, I was already anAdult by the time I was dragged by my Ex to go and see Part three inthe theaters. As soon as I got home tho I opened Book one and read allthree and have been hooked ever since. I will miss reading new books on Harry Potter, I will also miss gettingangry at how much was left out of the movies and thrilled at some ofthe creative additions. Thank you J.K Rowling for such an incrediblestory, thank you Yates for bringing it to life (even if I hated you attimes) and thank you Radcliffe, Watson, and Grint for sharing yourchildhood with us, to make Harry potter, Hermione Granger and RonWeasley possible.

epic ending
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows  Part 2 is the grandest offinales. It works in hope, love, loss, death, destruction, thrills, andtriumph, and does so more efficiently and powerfully than any otherfilm in the series to date. I'm not sure if Deathly Hallows will workas one giant, almost five-hour movie, but I expect that it will. Theindividual pieces are so strongÂthe direction, the performances, andall the technical aspectsÂthat only the pacing would be a question. ButI'm not reviewing that eventual epic. This review is for Harry Potterand the Deathly Hallows  Part 2, a movie that is exhilarating, emotionally powerful, uplifting, magical, and a beautiful conclusion toa wonderful series. Splitting J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter and theDeathly Hallows was a risky proposition from a narrative standpoint.Financially, it was an unsurprising move, but if you have one moviethat's all slow, methodical character development and the second moviethat's all fast-paced action, then each movie could be monotonousbecause they've lost the other half of their story. Both parts of HarryPotter and the Deathly Hallows managed to avoid that problem. The firstpart, while mostly centered on wandering and quiet moments, stillmanaged to work in humor and thrilling set pieces. By contrast, HarryPotter and the Deathly Hallows  Part 2 is an almost non-stop epicbattle that still finds time for the character development and deeplymoving moments the series became known for. It is the grandest of allof the Harry Potter films in scope, in action, and in heartbreak.

An ending, just not a stand alone movie
Perhaps more than any other of the series, this movie has no standingon it's own. While better viewed in order, any of the first six couldbe viewed and enjoyed on their own with someone unfamiliar with thebooks or previous movies. This movie requires having seen the seventhmovie at the very least, and probably really needs all the previousmovies to be enjoyed (but those that have seen those movies are theprime target). The movie contained your typical good/evil battle, with no realsurprises amongst the characters. Yes, I know that.... Again, obvious. There was lots of action, lots of explaining. Just not a lot of fun.Although it would have been rather long, the final book as one moviewould have been better, with the explanations woven in the longermovie, rather than needing to dominate this movie. But that simplywould not be as profitable for the Potter industry.

As a Movie, Its Spectacular - As a Closure to the Story, Its Horrendous
I left the screening of Deathly Hallows Part 2 in a jubilant mood. Asfar as I was concerned, it was a satisfying, thrilling conclusion to along-running series that captivated us all. When I watched it again, however, and subjected it to further scrutiny, there are several waysin which Deathly Hallows Part 2 is a very poor conclusion to HarryPotter's story arc.The good first. The film looks fantastic, that's for sure. The dragonin the Gringotts scene is nothing short of spectacular. The sight of aHogwarts under fire is breathtaking. The scenes in the Room ofRequirement and with the Grey Lady are memorable and linger with theaudience. The performances by the actors are top-notch. Our three leadsall deliver solid performances that do their characters justice.Matthew Lewis and Evana Lynch deserve mention as well, playing NevilleLongbottom and Luna Lovegood respectively. It is indeed scandalous thatgiven their vital roles in this film, theirs are names only included inthe final cast. Same goes for Emma Thompson, who admittedly has a smallrole but still, the two-time Academy Award winning actress really needsa better agent if she is not top billing. Most impressive, perhaps, isAlan Rickman. His flashback scene to discovering Lily is heart-rending;an excellent performance.Unfortunately, what pulls the movie apart is its really quitefetishistic attitude of "look how many special effects we can do",often at the cost of the story. The final battle between Harry andVoldemort is a particular offender in that; to anyone who has read thebooks, it is a ridiculously over-the-top sequence (with really cornydialogue, might I add: "Let's finish this the way we started -TOGETHER!" Oh please). Voldemort and Bellatrix meet their demise inways that have no relation to anything that preceded them. Neither doesSnape giving Harry his memory in the form of tears (that inducedparticular groans when we watched it again).I was under the impression that the reason the story was separated intotwo films was to do justice to the story. It is extremely ironic, then, that the film leaves out many vital things. Dumbledore's past -everything about Ariana, Aberforth and Grindlewald - is not mentionedat all. And the things the film doesn't leave out, it insults theauthor J.K. Rowling by feeling the need to rewrite things. Harry snapsthe Elder Wand in two - in the book, he used it to heal his old wandand then left it in the headmaster's office. Neville proclaims love forLuna even though nothing warrants that. There is a pointless chasescene with Nagini - in the book, when Neville dragged the sword fromthe hat, he killed her at that moment. One of the most infamous thingsis how Fred's demise is kept offhand - we're never even told whetherit's Fred or George! The battle at Hogwarts was much more epic in thebook, with centaurs and such creatures joining in the fight with theforces of good. The most disappointing thing is Harry and Voldemort's final battle. Ithappens in the middle of nowhere, and when it's over, there is no senseof climax at all. In the book, they battled in the Great Hall, in frontof all surviving characters. When it was over, there was enormousjubilation, a sense of climax that it was all over. In the movie, nobody even acts as though anything happened when Harry walks backinside. No appreciation, no nothing. Most aggravating of all is the ironic fact that for those who have notread the books, Voldemort's demise doesn't make sense. The reboundingcurse because Voldemort is not the Elder Wand's master is neversufficiently delivered to the audience, so newcomers will notunderstand what exactly happened to Voldemort. The flashback scene with Snape's story is then needlessly rushed andskips many points that pinpointed why, exactly, he and Lily fell outwith each other and why they couldn't be together. Also, her eyes, would it have been so hard to make Lily's eyes green inpost-production? They've only been talking about her eye colour for theentire series. Ron and Hermione's long-awaited kiss is set up much morepoorly in the movie than in the book. In the book, it was Hermioneseeing how much Ron had grown up - in the film it was "Oh, we bothsurvived, let's kiss".The way in which the Deathly Hallows themselves - the title of the film- tie into everything? Yup, that's left out too. Everything about being"Master of Death" simply doesn't exist in this film. But who caresabout story inconsistencies if we've got loads of special effects tomake up for them? Deathly Hallows Part 2 is a good film, but as aconclusion to the story, it is very sloppy work indeed.

This film will not disappoint die-hards
I think that this film was always going to be amazing if it was maderight. And it was. I'm not going to lie, I was shivering for half of itduring the battle and terrified by the eerie atmosphere. But I lovedit. I usually dislike battle scenes but the film was made excellently. There wasn't too much violence and there was enough of the traditionalHarry Potter vibe needed to please die-hard fans.SPOILER! I was upset that they did not show the death of Fred Weasleyor mention Teddy Lupin or show Neville as the future HerbologyProfessor.Overall, this was much better than the first part and had wonderfulflashbacks to previous films which really tied the whole saga together.

Best Potter Movie
This was an absolutely amazing movie. I saw it at the midnight premierand then again the next day that's how much I loved it. The memorieswith Snape gave me chills along with when Harry first confronts Snape.I thought the scene at King's Cross was very well done. This movie wasintense yet had some very comical lines as well. However, Fred's deathcould have been done better and they did leave out a lot about theDeathly Hallows and Dumbledore's back story. Neville killing the snakecould have been done much better. Most people say it was too short, butI kind of liked that. The action just kept going with no breaks. I readthe books, so I know lots was left out, but that's what happens inevery movie. The mood in the theater(especially the midnightpremiere)just added to the magic. I don't think there was a dry eye inthat room, and you couldn't help but cheer when Harry rolled out ofHagrid's arms. Some things were left out, but overall it was afantastic movie I will definitely buy on DVD.

A REVIEW made by a REAL FAN, of the harry potter BOOKS.
FIRST OF ALL THIS IS A MOVIE RATED 13+ ,SO.... (no lots of blood, nonudity, no corpses)OK, i have read lots of reviews made by movie fans, but i wanted tomake a review made to all of you that are seeking for "the changes" ifit "sticks" to the book and all that stuff....Let me start by saying this is an AWESOME movie, full of action, youwill certainly cry in a moment, or you will always be crying... amazed, and all that stuff, but... YES, it is full with CHANGES from the book, but really they are all perfectly made, they put a little more here, alittle more there, they cut some parts that for us the "fans" areimportant, but hey this is a MOVIE, if you want the real deal read thebook. So said that, i have to say, that all the fights are amazing, theacting is REALLY REALLY so upgraded, from everybody. There are gorgeous visuals, and the 3D really complements all thespells, and all that stuff, in the Hogwarts battle scene, it looks likea video game, like i don't know it looks so good, awesome, you WILL bestunned,but...if you are looking for the BOOK, if you are looking for THAT for thereal thing, you will be disappointed,Voldemort's dead scene is bad.REALLY bad. That is all i will say. What i have to recognize is that, they really gave Snape all theemotion he needed, i have to admit i cried like a starving baby duringmost of his scenes, it is perfectly written, his part, all of it, ALL.There are no scenes with "ron, Hermione" fighting, i really wishedthere where, not just running from side to side. The love between Ron, Hermione is perfect, they added more emotion totheir kiss is BETTER than in the book, the scene is written just forTHAT kiss and it's totally worth it, but Ginny's and Harry's kiss isawful, i feel like they never gave them a try to have their lovemoment, it always feels so rushed, with no chemistry at all. This movie has so many little details, that make you remember all thepast ones, and they are so perfect, so well made, from the songs, themusic, to little things that you will say: oh!!, remember that?. Ireally appreciate that.I will finish this by SAYING, thank you, Harry Potter, thank you JKRowling, your books are, your world, you made me believe in it. ButTHANKS GOD the movies are over, THANKS GOD for real. It's certainly the best, it cannot be compared of course, this is allaction. But hey, give it a try, you WON'T , and i mean it you won't have a badtime watching it, it's pleasantly enjoyable.
