Not a bad show starring the man I secretly fancy.
I started watching Greys Anatomy in Season 4 and I liked it. Its focueson Doctors in Seattle who do different operations in every show andthey also have steamy sex with their loved ones. Patrick Dempsey inthis is so obnoxious in this programme I swear to god he goes on and onabout how wonderful he is and that the bloody hospital is in fact his.Grr I hate Dr Shepard but I adore Dempsey though as he is sexy and veryrespectable. The charcthers are OK,the procedures they do in thisprogramme is sometimes gross e.g one of them had a pencil stuck intheir eye, opening up people's stomachs.I liked the season 6 finale in Grey's as Dr Shepard gets shot by someguy who wanted revenge as his wife died in the hospital and he bought agun and shot some of the staff along with Dr Shepard. I was like NO!!.Its a great show and I liked it even though I never saw the season 1 ofit.

Not bad, but too much loving and not enough healing.
This is supposed to be a medical show like House, St Elsewhere, TrapperJohn , Etc. But it is really a soap opera based on the intertwined loveaffairs of all the resident and intern doctors who just are so hornythey love each other long time. They constantly compromise each others lives by having unprofessionaland unwise relationships that would make most alley cats jealous. Thevery first show starts the viewer down the path of unholy sex rompswith our lovely starlet the harlot hooking up with a total stranger whoquickly becomes her main fixation and unshakable love drug. The othercast members quickly fall in to the bed'em don't wed'em routine andthis becomes a little too much of the focus. That being said, the show is still riveting with tremendous periods ofintense drama that leaves you needing more, just like the sex starvedcast members. The shoot from the hips diagnosis, and exploratorysurgeries, are often a little under researched and casual compared toHouse and his crew's 58 minute workups. Still in many ways the show ismore believable than House, and Merideth Grey is much easier to take inlarge doses than Greg House. The first two seasons are on DVD and I would recommend anyone wantingto give the show an honest chance, rent or buy them and start in order. There is a tremendous amount of character development that should notbe missed.Despite my feelings about the loose sex and love interest, I think theshow is a hit well worthy of all the accolades it has received. I alsothink the cast is about as talented as any show ever put together whenyou examine them as a whole.

Season 1 = 2 = 3 = 4 ...
I have managed to watch almost 4 seasons so far. I really don't know ifshould I watch it more, because I can't stand Meredith. She is mainactress in show and she is so damn annoying, ridiculous, spoiled, childish, annoying, annoying, ANNOYING! There is not a single thingthat is good about her. She's always complaining and she thinks she isthe only person that matters and that she is the only one withproblems. She loves to rant about her problems more then anything else. She is braking up with Derek for the most impossible stupid ridiculousreasons. And then she's telling him he must not date other women, because some day after decade maybe she will be ready to have somethingmore with him. WHAT THE HELL!?Also, if I would decide to watch all seasons I'm pretty sure I wouldsee everyone in the hospital sleeping with each other at some point. Inseason 8 there are probably patients screwing each other.

Greys Antomy O Malley Antomy Should be more like it!
Now OK I love the show as much as the next person but to me the show isall about George. I don't even pay attention to the main characterMeredith, in fact to me she annoy's me. If it were only her on the showI'd die of boredom, but hey that's just one person's opinion. So yeahover all you can pretty much guess who my favorite character is coughGeorge cough. I just think if it only had Meredith a lot of the fanswouldn't be tuning in as much. It would be all about her, her, her andher selfish attitude. The humor is very good though even if there is alot of drama. Its a great show, I'd rather have O Malley be the starhe's much more entertaining than Meredith, and has a sense of humor.

Pluses and Minuses
If you work in medicine, you'll cringe at the inaccuracies, mistakesand just plain insults to the medical profession. For example, inepisode 1, Dr. Grey is presented with a patient having seizures. No oneknows what to do about it, including Dr. Grey, who freezes up. In reallife, any RN with 2 months of experience could easily handle thissimple problem. Certainly any ICU nurse could, and this debacle happensin ICU. Yet, the nurses in the show know nothing and are helplesslycalling for guidance from Dr. Grey, who is paralyzed with fear. So,it's a stupidly inaccurate show speaking from the medical point ofview. The characters are all interesting, and at one time or anotherwe've met them all. Ellen Pompeo is unexpectedly good in her role, andgrows on you until you find her to be delectable. Funny how such ahomely girl can become so alluring and sexy to you. "The Nazi" (Dr.Bailey) is a little overboard with her hostile temper, and wouldn'tlast a day in a real hospital with that nasty attitude. "Izzy" is soimmature, it's impossible to think of her as a doctor or intern. SandraOh is quite believable and does a terrific job on her role. Overall, the personal situations are interesting and entertaining, but if youwork in the medical field, be prepared to grit your teeth a lot. Still,I'm ready for Season 2.

One of the interns is leaving the program.....
According to Ellen (meredith) in the Feb 20-26 issue of TV Guide shesays "One of the interns is leaving the program.Whoever it is knowsalready- I just know its not me." Who do u think it will be???? I'mthinking maybe Alex???? anyone else have any ideas??? He doesn't play areally big role in the show but talk about sex and hit on every femalein sight and if u have been watching since the beginning he wasn'tapart of Baileys interns to begin with he was switched in. And thisweek episode the heart patient comes back and makes a date with Izzieso his role of being hot and heavy with Izzie seem to be numbered. buthey its just a guess tell me what you guys think!!!

Love Greys Anatomy
My husband and I love this show! We never miss it and can't wait untilthis Sunday night when the new season ends. It has a little bit ofeverything in it, and the actors are superb. One of my favorites is theactress who plays "The Nazi". Oftentimes, when I find a TV show that Ilike, unfortunately, somebody else doesn't like it and it gets takenoff the air. However, I feel that it is actually one of the best-actedshows with the best story lines. If is available on DVD, I do suggestyou rent it and watch the whole first season to get you all set towatch the upcoming season debut. You know where I'll be on Sunday nightat 10:00.

Are we supposed to believe.....(rant)
that Dr Grey goes out the night before her first day at the hospital asan intern and drinks so much that she goes home with a completestranger, which happens to work at the very same hospital she is toreport to, and not only can't remember the guy's name (Dr. Shepherd)but during the previous night, the fact that they are both doctorsnever came up in the conversation? Or were both of them completely tooblasted to hold a normal conversation (names, occupations)? I know thatif I was starting my residency the next day, I'd be talking about it.But then again, I wouldn't be at a bar looking to hook up. Nice way to open up a new series - make sure the kids watch it sothey'll ask plenty of questions about the shenanigans those doctors areup to. I hope this behaviour is widely practiced in the medical field.Instead of showing my insurance card next time, I'll bring some boozeto compensate the good Dr. (I know, this episode was so long ago andthere's already a post on this somewhere but I just watched the first 2shows and credibility was thrown out the window from the very firstscene.)

One episode. Just one will bring you in.
Grey's Anatomy raps everything you want in a drama series into one hellof an amazing show. Some hilarious moments to lighten up the night, yetthe most intense and depressing scenes with the top-notch acting. The story lines are smart and the character development also excels. The writing scores a 10/10. Great script delivered by a fabulous cast.A standout is Golden Globe winner Sandra Oh, who portrays the arrogant, unloving yet hysterical Dr. Cristina Yang. Supposed "has been" PatrickDempsey plays the dreamy Dr. Derek Shepherd (if you're a woman and youwatch this show, you'll adore him) So you want a sad show that willmake you shed tears? This is the show for you. Talk a little bit withthe friends of yours that have good taste (AkA watch Grey's Anatomy)andthey'll explain how long it took them to get over some of thebreath-taking scenes. What if you're not so much the teary-type, but more of the "I want somemedical action!" type? The two-part episode that aired after theSuperbowl last year drawed in various viewers who enjoy watchingaction-packed intense shows. For someone who doesn't make a peep duringmovies like "The Blair Witch Project" or "The Exorcist", I'll admit Ihad my jaw down to the floor during the action-packed episode whichfeatured a bomb inside a patients body that could explode at anymoment.Perhaps you like the funny side of life? Grey's Anatomy will deliver atleast... hmm... 10 or more hilarious moments each episode? Check outthe quotes section on IMDb and you'll find many hilarious jokes. Ifyour friend ever started using the term "va-jay-jay" it's this showthat created it.Grey's Anatomy isn't your typical medical drama, however. It's notabout the patients (ER). Nor about the cases (House). But it's aboutthe characters and that is the single most important thing in a dramaseries as the characters are the ones that you connect to and pull youin.GIVE IT A SHOT! Don't waste your time this year with boring andrepetitive shows such as CSI. One episode. One episode is all it takesto drag you in. I suggest the Season 1 premiere, or the Season 2finale.

major melodrama...from mars!
Got a chance to check out a few episodes of this show recentlyand...good grief!! Everyone knows about the phenomenon in day-time t.v.where the material wears thin or the cognitive skills of the writerswear thin, or whatever, and they start reaching into the twilight zonefor ideas. I mean, what the hell, we're talking soap operas, right? It's kind of a standing joke...characters die then come back to life, then get sex-changes, then get abducted, then raise the dead...you nameit and it's happened! Now cut to Grey's Anatomy and one starts to get afamiliar taste in one's mouth. My favorite episode was one in which apatient comes in who...get this...worked in a bazooka factory!Apparently he shot himself in the side with a shell (and who in thehell knows how THIS could happen?). Well, in steps the EMS technicianwho promptly puts her hand inside the wound and grabs theshell....straight out of the manual, isn't it? Cut to a later scenewhere the bomb squad officer shares a deep, long, loaded silentexchange after the female resident has extracted the shell. She passesit to him (oh yummy...might something develop between them?? giventhese characters, this is not at all impossible) and he walks down thehall and promptly blows up! Shucks! Beyond this, the actualinter-personal drama between this crew is bloated beyond tolerance.Every shared moment is oozing...fairly GUSHING with tension and passionand animosity and feeling and angst. I felt myself clawing for air justwatching the sticky mess on t.v. The only word for this creature ismodernized pathos. I work in surgery and, believe me, nobody is thisridiculous...thank god...for us and for our patients!!

A great one !
At the beginning, I didn't want to watch this show. I thought it was asecond "ER" and was not so original. But an evening I had time and Isaid to myself "Why not watching "Grey's Anatomy" just to see how it is?". So I watched it and... I liked it !Actually, it's not a remake of "ER". I don't really know how to explainthat but it's very different from the successful show of 1994 (that Ilike very much too). Each character is very endearing, especiallyGeorge O'Malley (T.R. Knight). And Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl) isso beautiful, her smile is so lovely... They aren't heroes but justpeople like you and me who try to be surgeons and to have a goodpersonal life. And it's not always easy...This series is at the same time funny, sad, moving and thrilling. So, agreat one !

Another great show for ABC
I love this show. I didn't know if I would like it or not, because I'mnot a big ER fan, due to the depressing parts, however "Grey's Anatomy"has a lot more depth to it on so many levels. Let's face it, who reallywants to talk about death? This show involves some humor, unlike ER,but you also get the blood and guts popping out, very sad moments, moreinvolved stories about the DR's personal life's, issues that arebombarding our medical care in this country today and the great musicputs it over the top. It's more of a "tug at your heart strings" kindof show when it comes to death and also there are some politicsinvolved, which i highly think should be brought up in this day andage-such as being a full donor and saving peoples lives, rather thanrotting away. I'm actually surprised it's not a David Kelly Show(Boston Legal) - it seems like something he'd create. Anyway, you haveto watch this show- it's completely addicting-- and I only watched itsince i like Patrick Dempsey on the off chance it may be a goodshow--Wow, was I pleasantly surprised. I did also like Boston Legal, but not nearly like "Greys." Hopefully there is room for both of themon Sunday nights.

AWFUL, dreadful yuck
most over rated television show on EVER. stick with Scrubs! This showis so over-dramatic and unrelistic it makes me sick. meridith is someslutty inturn who crys almost every episode. Basically its a crummyversion of house and scrubs combined. sometimes it can suck you in butafter you know what happens in the episode it becomes really boring.Usually the "clifhangers" end really disappointing and you wonder whyyou even bothered to stay up and watch it. WORST SHOW EVER! Probablythe most annoying character in the show is the load and obnoxiousResident named Baily. Although most of the characters are fairlyattractive baily is ugly, fat, and short. She basically bosses everyonearound and hopefully she will eventually quit and work in the kitchenwhere mothers belong

The one thing I look forward to all week..
Grey's Anatomy. It's the perfect mix of serious and funny. It's justaddicting. I look forward to this one hour all week long, and never hasan hour felt so short! The writing is amazing. It draws viewers in, andkeeps them attached. I started watching it mainly because DesperateHousewives was over and I thought 'Oh, this looks good'. Normally, Idon't go for the medical/doctor-ish shows. But like i said, its aperfect mixture serious and funny. The writers don't overwhelm you withmedical talk and constant surgery, like ER. At the same time, it's nota pure 'comedy' like scrubs. It's nice. The casting for the show is great also. They act so well together andmake the show enjoyable to watch. I don't sit in front of the TV andcringe at the acting, like I do for some shows. To me, this is what Ilove about shows.Grey's Anatomy gets a five star rating from me, and I hope this showkeeps going for awhile, since I have no idea what I would watch Sundaynights if it wasn't on.

i hate greys anatomy!!!!
well i hate this show, i cant stand the actors and the plots appeal toonly brainless females, i watched the show again on may 22nd i think itwas the season's finale , to bad it was the series finale, this show isplain stupid, it is very unrealistic give me reality TV or life anddeath in the er, no not this drama blown junk, i can just imaginedoctors doing a autospy without permission and the main doctor walkingin and catching them oh wouldn't that make for some exciting TV?thenthe young doc that is in love with the lead character what a man, thendon't forget patrick dempsey yes pizza man grown from screech lookingto hunk, yeah right, his wife tells greay are you the one blanking myhusband, i am sure that happens everyday in a hospital close to usall,no wonder so many people die in hospitals this show would have usbelieve skirt chasing is more important than heart surgery, then wethrow in the background music most is really bad female bands , whatelse can we males ask for, perhaps oprah can start directing this greatshow and make it even better-pinch me i am awake

Best Show on TV
From the very first time I happened on Greys Anatomy, I Loved It, LoveIt. I told every to watch it. I tried to describe it to my son who isan actor, attend second city in Chicago, He did not like medical stuff,Now he is telling me it is the Best TV show!!. Hope fully he can nowappear on the show, since he was Borned in London, he could be avisiting consultant or somebody's Love interest, It is all about therelationships, rather than the medicine, I wonder if they are lookingfor a Nannie for Dr. Baileys Baby, I would be just that person, AmJamaican by Birth, but A British citizen, who went to school/college inEngland, with a social workers/child care background. So how about itMiss Shonda Rhymes?. Give a Sister a break, even though am over 50years old. am very young at heart, and can be great fun. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.

My Favorite Show!! Meredith and Derek are the best! Amazing!
*MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS*I've been watching this show ever since the middle of season 2 and assoon as i could i bought the first and second season and watched bothof them. I also now have season 3 and season 4 and when season 5 comesout, i'm buying it. I absolutely love this show. The thing that got be hooked was MerDer. They are amazing, my numberone couple. While they are the main reason to watch this show, i doenjoy watching all the other things. I also like Mark/Lexie now. They're cute. I'm really sad George is dead. I love him, i wish TRdidn't have to leave the show. I still remember the first scene i watched of the show was Derektelling Addison in 212 at Christmas time that Meredith's wasn'trevenge, he fell in love with her. At the time i wasn't paying greatattention, because, another family member of mine was actually watchingit. Then the next thing i saw was a clip show, so i knew more about theshow. I started watching it, fell in love with it and have been likeobsessed with it ever since. Lol.It's just something about it that hooked me. Meredith and Derekespecially. They're love is so great, so strong and it has always beenDerek for Meredith and always Meredith for Derek. They are just it. For anyone who loves medical shows, drama and romance, this show is foryou. And most of the time, the medical parts aren't the big part of theshow. So it's more just Drama and Romance. I'm a big romantic and ilove Meredith and Derek. How many times have i said that? Lol. I thinkyou guys get the drift. I Love This Show! :D

Greys Anatomy is amazing!
This show is addicting but in a good way in which it isn't a guiltypleasure. This show is perfectly written with a great cast. You havethe different story lines for the different characters and in between amind blowing medical case. In this show you can get to the point weresometimes you just love to hate a character. You never know what goingto happen next. It's the perfect mix of a drama and a comedy. It has atendency to in a hard and difficult situation (filled with drama) toinsert a funny or usually a sarcastic line that changes the situationwhich is so great! Greys Anatomy is exactly what TV needs. There isalways something for everyone. It tackles many issues in a great way! While watching this show you cry, laugh, hate and love the charactersat the same time. You can relate to the show. This is a must watchshow!
