Sad, beautiful, subtle, it is a strange poem about limits of love andshadows of duty. A film about sacrifice and emotions of worlds andsearches. A picture of the last century, very old, small, kitten's cry.The dogs and their desire. Confuse, heavy, cold. Signs of resignationand pieces of innocent beauty. Splendid images and a delicate emotionas nimbus of confession. A parable of lost smile. Some women and aphotographer. And a long travel to America. A new world, a new life anda love without bones. A Greek tragedy. Or a story of every day in aland of nobody. It is not important. The pain, the dreams, theillusions are the same. The fuzzy faces and looks are pieces of a hugegame of existences, hopes and emotions. So, a sad, beautiful, subtlemovie.

Great Family Fun!!!

If you are a dog person, and have an open mind about kids movies,you'll probably like this sequel. It's not as good as the original, butit's not bad. A reckless German Shepherd police dog named Diggs is soonrecruited by Lou and Butch to help them bring down an evil cat namedKitty Galore. Kitty plans on releasing a sound that only dogs can hearand will turn them crazy and attack their master. Diggs and Butch areforced to team up with a pigeon named Seamus, and a cat named Catherinein order to stop Kitty. They even become so desperate that they seekthe help of Mr. Tinkles. I would probably recommend CATS & DOGS: THEREVENGE OF KITTY GALORE!!!

Cats and Dogs Join Forces To Fight Evil Kitty Galore

For a children's film, 'Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore' ispretty much the usual generic flick. Kids would enjoy it and the adultswho watch it with them might enjoy some of it. I for one enjoyed thereferences, especially the one to 'Silence of the Lambs'. While thehuman characters are boring and clichéd, most of the cats and dogs andthe pigeon are likable. The voice casting (that includes stars likeJames Marsden, Christina Applegate, Bette Midler, Nick Nolte, SeanHayes and more) is good too. There's plenty of action and high-techgadgets (even though they are mostly nonsensical). Even though some ofthe jokes made me laugh, the writing is very amateurish. Plot holes areabundant. This really is a movie for kids (who don't question logic orthe lack of it). It's downright forgettable but certainly not among theworst to come out that year.

Fast Delivery!!

This review is from: Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore (DVD) I did not expect to get my purchase as quick as I did, but it arrived in almost half of the time which was great. I bought it for a Christmas present fo my son, so we haven't watched it yet, but it came completely sealed and everything just like you would buy it off the store shelf, so I am not anticipating any problems. A plus I was able to purchase it from an animal rights place, which made it all the better! Definately happy with the purchase.

Ignore the nay-sayers, its a fun, cute film.

It's not quite up to par with the original, but this film still holdsits own. This is fun to watch, and is rather clever and has its owngags, making fun of some of the gags from the earlier film. As with theearlier movie, there are homages to classic pictures. There are alsosome lessons dealing with getting along and obedience without beatingthe children over the head with them. This is an entertaining movie andone that is for the entire family and one hundred percent enjoyable.I'm forty-six and laughed all the way through it. If you're looking fora Best Picture Winner, forget it. If you're looking for something youcan show your kids, this is it.

Movie for children or adults who really understand children! I am a guy, I have 33 years old and I really enjoy their world, kidsworld. The team who make this film I think they are big children too.Congratulations, with such folks the world can be change by honestpeople, slightly naive, happy and a little crazy ... as well aschildren are.I appreciate less the fact in the movie they used colorful languagesuch as: (hell, crap, stupid, etc.), but times have changed, when theporn knocking on our door, via the internet. Kids please dont ask your parents to watch this

Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore is the sequel of 2001 Catsand Dogs, it tells the story of Kitty Galore, formerly an agent for catspy organization MEOWS, has gone rogue and hatched a diabolical plan tonot only bring her canine enemies to heel, but take down her formerkitty comrades and make the world her scratching post. Faced with thisunprecedented threat, cats and dogs will be forced to join forces forthe first time in history in an unlikely alliance to save themselvesand their humans. Unlike the first one that was original and enjoyable,this one pretends to be funny without achieving it, the charactersaren't as credible someone would think, the story isn't very good andthe plot isn't very well developed. The cast is good in names. ChrisO'Donnell and Jack McBrayer in live action characters and the voices ofNeil Patrick Harris, Bette Midler, Joe Pantoliano, Sean Hayes, JamesMarsden, Christina Applegate and Nick Nolte. In conclusion, the moviemay attract little kids for a period of time with some moments of humorbut that's it.

Stupid Funny

Kitty Galore is a stupid funny movie. The first Cats and Dogs was better (Cats & Dogs (Widescreen Version)), the plot made more sense and it was funnier. Kitty Galore is still a funny movie, yes there were major plot holes, the voices weren't nearly as good this time around, and Kitty Galore was very difficult to look at (she was a hairless cat breed - sorry I don't know cat breeds at all).Kitty Galore is a rogue evil spy cat that tries to take over the world. The dogs try to stop her, but discover they have to collaborate with cats from MEOW. Cats and dogs working together??? The film is a lampoon of so many other movies, it's almost impossible to list them; Star Wars, Mission Impossible, James Bond (well obviously), Silence of the Lambs, Cheech and Chong, and many others. The connections are obvious and heavy handed. This film was never meant to be subtle from the start. The film is rated PG. Some parents might be offended by the bathroom jokes and the montage at the old lady's house full of cats high on cat nip. The special effects of animals talking is done well. The film was well produced with good camera work. Some of the other special effects were cheesy, especially the ones on the satellite. I laughed a lot at this film. It is stupid beyond imagination. There is nothing socially redeeming or artful about this film, it is just plain old stupid fun. I don't think Cats and Dogs has played out their franchise yet. This movie comes very close, but doesn't jump the shark. The original may be better, but this one is still funny. A third Cats and Dogs movie will be way too much.

Why did this movie fail critically

This movie is nowhere nere as good as the first cats and dogs but it isfunny and entertaining. one thing that this movie completely fails atis heavily relying on CGI granted some animals are animotronics andreal animals the whole thing is just a whole fake mess. another thingis lame jokes but i expect it in a kids movie. other then that SeanHayes returns to play Mr. tinkles and is funny as always. so i wouldrecommend you see this movie.1hr 22min/82min Rated PG for animal action and humor **1/2/****

Not the Best Kids Movie of the Year, but OK

Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore is about a police dog named Diggs (voiced by James Marsden) who has been thrown off the police force because he went "rouge", did not follow orders, and accidentically blew up a car dealership. He is banned to the kennels until one day a secret under cover dog named Butch (voiced by Nick Nolte) shows up out of no where to recruit him for a top secret mission. A former cat agent named Kitty Galore (voiced by Bette Midler) was chased into a vat of fur removal gel by a guard dog and now wants revenge on dogs and mankind. The movie follows Diggs, Butch and their animal posse as they try to take down the evil Kitty Galore and save their beloved humans.I have to admit, that I went into the movie thinking it was going to be dumbest movie that I seen in a while. I am not a big fan of talking animal movies and the first 40 minutes proved that I was right on the dumb part. Everyone wanted to laugh, but there was just not much to be excited about. The entire movie theater was in dead silence. The movie mocked every James Bond movie ever made and the action was decent at best. But as the movie moved along something strange happened: it got funny and it was exciting! Those dogs and cats and that crazy pigeon actually had me enjoying myself and getting into the plot. Bette Midler as Kitty Galore was too funny. But Katt Williams as Seamus, the stool pigeon, had the best lines in the entire movie.Don't go expecting the best kids movie of the year with Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore. My son actually loved this movie since the end was good. If you can stand going from boring to decent to exciting, then this movie is for you. Otherwise, go see Despicable Me in 3D and wait for this one to come out on DVD.

Cats Dogs

I cannot believe that this movie has such a low rating. It is a kid'smovie people! You have to take it for what it is, it's not meant to bea mind provoking film! I thought it was pretty funny and I enjoyed it.It's much better then the other movies for kid's that have beenreleased lately. The movie was excellent and I especially thought Mr.Tinkle's performance definitely stole the show once he was on screen.There were many scenes throughout the film that had me laughing so hardI cried. If you do not like kid's movies then don't see this- plain andsimple! But if you are like me and you want to see it just for the cutecomedy then see it. Personally I thought it was funnier then a lot ofcomedies for adults.

Actually, pretty decent

This is hardly a gem of a sequel, but it is not as bad as I heardpeople had said. I personally prefer the first, though that also hadits problems. The film does look good, with striking location work andskillful-enough photography and the effects don't look cheap either.The soundtrack is a lot of fun too especially at the beginning, and theacting is decent with the human characters likable enough and SeanHayes and Bette Midler standing out in the voice cast. The direction isat least okay. The film is too rushed though, particularly at the end,perhaps with a longer length it would have felt more steady. The scriptdoes have its clever and witty moments, but also one too many momentsof stupidity, and the film is not that long I feel the story was toothin to properly sustain the running time. Overall, a decent sequel butcould have been more. 5/10 Bethany Cox

If you loved the first one, wait for video.

Went hopeing it would be as good as the first, unfortunetly Warner Bros just decided to cash in on the franchises popularity. Slapped together script, heavy reliance on CGI that wasn't as good as the work done in 2001, and little to no interaction with the human characters. The jokes were a bunch of retreads. Why oh why can't hollywood get some brains and realize the script is the most important, not some riduculace gimmick like 3D. This had a lot of potential unfortunately the grab for money out weighed everything else. And yes I know -10 sp, yahoo needs a spell checker.

The Pigeon was Hilarious... watch it for pigeon but on T.V or DVD.

CATS & DOGS: REVENGE OF KITTY GALORE – CATCH IT ( C+ ) Well, Cats andDogs 2 is quite silly but to be honest I had fun time watching it. It'sfor kids so you have to watch from their point of view, this time thereare hardly any human characters, Chris O'Donnell is barely for totally10 minutes screen time. The most funny moments are provided by thepigeon, Oh my God the pigeon was Hilarious, I was laughing my A** Off.The other funny creature has to be the white mouse owned by KittyGalore, it was funny. Though, movie has staggering $85,000,000 budget,which doesn't show on the screen, sadly. Still, watch for once forwatch it for pigeon but on T.V or DVD.its only 82 minutes long.

Did the kitty get your tongue? Yes it did in fact

Cats and dogs 2, is better than its precedent from 10 years ago, yet itlacks laughs and interest. The movie is based on the cats and dogsjoining together and trying to beat Kitty Galore. In my opinion thisvillain was not interesting as the last one. This one is less creativeand is not as creative. There is also a new main character and somereturning. It was entertaining to see how the dogs and the cats weretrained to do this movie. The effects lack a lot of technology and theylooked a little fake. I did not get a chance to see this in 3d, but Ithink that it wouldn't have been that great since there are not a lotof scenes that pop out at you. At the end of the film it leaves with acliffhanger where you think a third installment will come soon. Theonly thing that makes me want to see it is the same villain as thefirst movie, but other than that, I hope the directors and producerscome up with a better script. Rent it for the kids, but not forteenagers or adults.

Guess I am a 6yr old

Read another review that said the 6 year old loved it but the 8 year old didn't so I guess that makes me a 55 year old 6 year old cause I enjoyed the laugh. Maybe the laugh is what i needed.

Cute movie

It was not as cute as the first movie I think but still there was several funny parts and I loved how the cats and dogs worked together this time. I look forward to a third movie as do my kids.
